ELIMU

Privacy policy

Last updated 28 September 2026

This policy explains what personal data ELIMU processes, why, and your rights. It applies to the ELIMU website and application. ELIMU is currently a closed pilot in Switzerland.

Who is responsible

Dzhevret Sali, Langgrütstrasse 102 8047 Zürich Switzerland. Contact: dzhevret@elimumusic.com.

What we process

  • Account data: your name, email address and sign-in details.
  • Artist Passport data: band name, members' roles, genres, home city, live history, releases, links to press coverage and documents, images and links — entered by the band, or gathered by ELIMU from the band's own public pages and public music platforms.
  • Audience and streaming figures for artists, obtained from a music-analytics data provider.
  • Applications: your answers to a festival's questions and the status of each application.
  • Festival reviewers' decisions on applications they receive.
  • Technical data: server logs, and cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your language.

Why

  • To run your account and the Artist Passport you manage.
  • To show festival opportunities and how well they fit an artist.
  • To pass an application, with the Passport content the band chose to share, to the festival it is addressed to.
  • To send service emails, such as invitations and notices about your account.

Passport content is private until the band publishes it. A public Passport can be seen by anyone who has its link.

Service providers

We use these providers to run ELIMU. Some are located outside Switzerland, including in the United States.

  • Microsoft Azure — hosting and database.
  • Clerk — sign-in and account management.
  • Resend — sending emails.
  • Anthropic — AI model used to read public web pages, such as festival and band pages.
  • A music-analytics data provider — audience and streaming figures.

Where data goes to a country without adequate data protection, we rely on safeguards recognised under Swiss law, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account and Passport data unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, or a copy in a common format, and object to processing. Write to dzhevret@elimumusic.com. You may also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or to your local supervisory authority if you are in the EU.

Changes

We will update this page when our processing changes, and change the date above.
